Given the amount of mis-guided information that circulates, it's no wonder that most people find it difficult to sort fact from fiction when it comes to food/supplements. For many the word 'diet' has become synonymous with restriction or denial, yet this far from its true definition, nor should this be the case. Forget low-carb, low-fat, the secret remains extraordinarily simple. A healthy diet contains a variety of foods which provide the correct proportions of macro- and mico-nutrients, whilst also being low in saturated fat, salt and sugar.

Despite the simple message, in reality a healthy balanced diet can be difficult to achieve, especially given the modern world in which we live. What should I eat when I go to restaurants? Should I eat breakfast before coming to training? Is eating late at night bad for me?

We answer a variety of questions, and from our experience those who ask those questions and are prepared to make changes in their eating in addition to their exercise habits prove to be the most successful.

All Delta Fitness trainers are qualified to analyse your nutrition and provide realistic dietary advice as part of a balanced training programme. For those requiring specialist help we have nutrition professionals who are able to offer in-depth and on-going dietary consultations on a one to one basis.
